God’s Word is dynamic and full of life! In times of joy and challenge alike, the Bible speaks directly to our hearts. Bible journaling is a unique way to engage with Scripture, reflect on God’s word and capture those special moments where you see God working in your life. Join us for a meaningful weekend at CRC with Tess Crawford (see Bio below) as we explore Bible journaling together. You don’t need any artistic talent—just an open heart ready to connect with God’s Word.

Overnight Guest: The cost for the weekend includes 2 nights lodging, meals and supplies for sessions and retreat packet (when paying by cash or check):

What to Bring:
- Bible or Notebook Journal: Feel free to bring a Bible you'd like to use for journaling, or a notebook if you prefer. If you don't have a journaling Bible, there are many options available to suit your style.
- Optional Supplies: While Tess Crawford will provide all the materials needed for our Bible Journaling projects, you're welcome to bring any of your own supplies to make the experience more personal.
Lodging:
- Lodging is in the beautiful White Oak Lodge. Guests thoroughly enjoy these hotel-like accommodations and each room has 2 Queen sized beds and a private bathroom. Towels and fresh linens are provided.

- White Oak Lodge Double Room (Two people per room) - $228.75 per person
- White Oak Lodge Triple Room (Three-four people per room) - $219.50 per person
- White Oak Lodge Single Room (One person per room) - $297.35 per person
- Day Guest: $117.25 per person

Bio on Tess:
Tess Crawford brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for guiding others in connecting with God’s Word through creativity. Currently serving as the Resource Coordinator for World Missions with BIC U.S., Tess plays a crucial role in supporting missionaries and managing prayer publications, as well as providing resources to congregations. Tess and her husband Ron live in Carlisle, PA, where Ron serves as the NLC Director at the New Life Community Church. Together, they have five children and four grandchildren. Tess’s ministry journey has taken her on many adventures, including a memorable ten years in Papua, Indonesia, where she taught elementary art at an international school while her family served with Wycliffe Bible Translators. As an artist, Tess is passionate about using creative expression to engage deeply with Scripture. Her heart is for nurturing disciples who not only study God’s Word but also find joy and fun in their spiritual journey. In addition to her ministry, Tess enjoys gardening, reading, and camping with her family. Follow and see her work on Facebook! |
