We hope your child had a great time at CRC and is returning home with wonderful memories. As your child comes home and returns to their daily routine, we understand that reintegration can sometimes feel like a challenge. To help make the process smooth for both you and your camper, we’ve put together a few tips for supporting them in this adjustment period:

- Allow Time for Transition: Give your child some downtime to rest and adjust after the fast pace of camp.
- Encourage Sharing, but Don’t Force It: Allow your child to share camp stories at their own pace.
- Support New Independence: Encourage your child to continue practicing the independence and skills they learned at camp.
- Understand Camp Sickness: Be patient if your child misses camp life and help them stay connected with camp friends.
- Encourage Reflection: Ask your child to reflect on their camp experiences and celebrate their personal growth.
- Keep the Spirit of Camp Alive: Incorporate elements of camp activities into your home life to extend the camp spirit, such as singing, Bible reading, and being outdoors.

- What did you miss most about home while you were at camp?

- How can we follow Jesus even when the excitement from camp wears off?
- What do you want your lasting camp memory to be?
