CRC ​​Summer Staff

First year counselor applications  need to be submitted by March 15, 2025.   Preference is typically  given to applicants that can serve  the whole summer.

​Counselors are accepted at age 16 and up.
Must be 16 by June 1st, 2025

​As a potential counselor at CRC, you will be serving a vital role! The leadership you display will have a big impact on the success of the summer ministry.  Due to the position you are applying for the standard is set high for those who are qualified to be summer counselors.  

The first and foremost requirement of a counselor at CRC is that your focus at camp is to reflect Jesus as beautiful through the power of the Holy Spirit for  the glory of our Heavenly Father.  Our summer counselors believe that Jesus will be made beautiful through:

Putting others before ourselves because it is a privilege to serve those we encounter. No one is beyond the limits of being our neighbor! (Phil 2:3-4)

Having a Christ like attitude because our minds are set on eternal things above.  There is no room for small minded, narrow thinking, complacent Christians! (Phil 2:5-11)

Working hard to display our faith because our faith is active.  It is not passive. Christ is alive! (Phil 2:12)

Showing our eagerness to be taught and to teach. Our God is the infinite creator and there is always more to learn! (Phil 2:19-24) 

Putting our confidence in the resurrection of Jesus because He is our hope.  With Christ nothing else matters and without Christ nothing else matters! (Phil 3:2-11)
What is Counselor Training Week?
  • To prepare our hearts for a summer of ministry.
  • To build a unified counseling staff.
  • To learn CRC's safety procedures and policies.
  • To form deep and life long relationships with other peers who love Jesus and desire to help build His Kingdom.

What is the application process?

  • Complete the Online Application
  • Interview with the Program Director
  • Three reference letters
  • Three background checks
  • Medical Form and W-2 Form Completed

Do I get paid?
  • A stipend is provided for each week
  • Partake in the Adopt-a-Counselor program
